What is Host a Murder?
Host A Murder, How To Host A Murder, Murder mystery party, Murder mystery night or Murder night is a game played over dinner.

We send you out a list of characters and you in turn invite each person to come dressed as that character. Dress-up is optional!

On arrival we get guests seated (usually tables of 10) and get them to introduce themselves in their characters. They read the rules of the game and study a map.

We play a CD and it is discovered that the fictitious host has been murdered and everyone present is suspect in the murder.

Over the dinner each person has to find out who the murderer is by accusations, questioning and reading out secret clues. Now, one of you in the group is the murderer but the murderer does not find out they are the murderer until almost the end of the game. So nobody knows who the murderer is not even the murderer. It is very funny and intriguing and appeals to all ages and cultures. Depending on the selected theme the game may last from approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Please also have a look at our testimonials.

Note: No alcohol is served during the game. If one person gets intoxicated they can ruin the game for everybody. We can start early and finish early, (e.g. 6 PM to 9 PM), allowing everyone to have drinks after the game is finished if they wish to.

Some reading is involved - please bring your glasses if necessary. Minimum number is 10, up to 300 people. Available 7 days a week for lunch or dinner.
